korean skincare---cleansers!

hey guys.  so if you read one of my past posts about korean skincare, and what products i use, then perhaps you saw that i had been using Pixi's balm to oil cleanser and Pacifica's Seafoam cleanser, and they were ok, but i really wanted to try some of the korean cleansers.  i finally ran out of the other cleansers and ordered Banila Clean it Zero Classic, which is a balm to oil cleanser, and Neogen Real Fresh Foam Cleanser in Green Tea.

this cleanser! it feels so nice!  and it smells good, too, very light and subtle.  there is also a fragrance free version.

oh.  my. gosh!  i applied the Banila cleanser, which is a balm, and it transforms into an oil cleanser as soon as it melts onto your skin.  it is fantastic.  i realized that the Pixi balm cleanser was very thick and heavy, which might be good for some, but it also made it hard to smooth all over my face and difficult to rinse off well, kind of like i had butter all over my face and hands.  but this Banila cleanser is light and easy to smooth around and when you add a little water, it emulsifies and rinses off very easily, along with all the junk on your face.  also, it has stuff like antioxidants that nourish and tone, vitamin C that brightens and papaya which exfoliates.  it gets your skin clean and removes makeup easily without stripping your skin of its natural oils.

this water based cleanser is amazing, foamy and gentle

ok, then the water based foam cleanser.  first of all, i love a foam cleanser, it just feels so luxurious and fluffy.  this cleanser removes dirt, sweat, and remnants of the oil cleanser.  the first time i used it, i put one pump into my hand and it was way too much, so i usually use a half a pump and it's plenty.  so, you don't need a lot.  this formula is made with fermented green tea extract which brightens and hydrates skin.  it smells divine, and is very gentle.  i really like this cleanser, and in general i am a huge fan of the brand NeoGen.  i will likely use this brand's foam cleanser again after i finish this one, i'm excited to try the other flavors--cranberry and cereal.

after using both of these, my skin was so squeaky clean without feeling dry and tight.  i've been using them for about 2 weeks now, so we will see how my skin feels after a few more weeks.
