slapping some paint up

hi all. sorry for the lack of posts, between a table update project and painting, we have been busy. oh, and the fact that we all had a nasty stomach flu that took us out for a few days. but my strength is returning and i started painting the living room. in a previous post i showed two color options and decided in the darker color, benjamin moore's revere pewter. i got valspar to color match it, bought two gallons and started on a small wall. i could tell right away that the color matching wasn't exact and that it came out a little more green than ben moore's actual revere pewter. i sat with it for a few days (mostly because i was recovering from the nasty stomach bug) and thought about pleading with lowe's to return it. but after i found out they won't return color matched paint i decided to live with it. the color is nice, really, even though it's not exactly the same as revere pewter. oh well. so i have started to paint. i imagine it will take a little bit of time since i pretty much can only paint after baby z has gone to sleep at night. so anyway, here is the progress so far, sorry for the bad iPhone pics but my sd card is all the way upstairs and i am too lazy to get it right now:  

i'll take some better pics with my real camera when i'm done. but already the walls are looking crisp, cleaner and the room more cozy. amazing what some paint can do!
