brother

mine is the best.  he's turning 30 today.  30!  did i mention he's my younger brother?  yikes.  anyway, just a little shout out to say happy 30th little brother.  and some reasons why he's the best:

-he has dimples
-he is super funny...i mean really really funny
-him and his lady have made me a beautiful, sweet, chubby-cheeked little baby niece
-he can seriously bbq
-he catches salmon. and then smokes it. and then gives some to his sister.
-he will do whatever he can to help people out, even if it's pouring rain, 11 at night and he hasn't eaten dinner yet.  he's awesome like that.
-he is strong---not physically (hehe) but emotionally--and has had to demonstrate that strength in his lifetime through some very crazy situations
-his hair is porkupine-pokey (i'm not sure that counts as awesome, but we'll put it here anyway)
-he's can make the best smoked meats
-he's a wonderful father
-he's probably the best son ever, just ask my parents
-he used to do whatever i told him to do when we were younger
-he can chat with anyone
-he's going to be a phenomenal uncle to my children someday
-if the current institutions of society fail and we have to fend for ourselves, my brother can teach me how to fish, cook on fire, and other camping-keeping-yourself-alive-in-the-wilderness type things
-i can totally kick his butt in basketball even though he's 8 feet tall
