Ottoman shopping
so the current coffee table in our living room is metal with a glass top and deadly corners. now that Z is almost walking me and hubs decided that we should probably store it for the time being, oh and Z pulls the foam corner protector things off all the time, so we really don't have a way to baby proof it at this point. we thought about just not having a coffee table for awhile since that space would be nice to have for Z to play but we actually use the coffee table a lot so we decided to replace it with a storage ottoman. i started checking out some ottomans online. i want one that isn't too wide, fabric rather than leather, goes well with my green couch and blue chairs, has storage and is under $300.
this one is almost what i want, beigy color, wood legs, storage, $110, but at 18x38 it may be a little smaller than i want but i'm not sure yet:
the last one is nice, linen beige, dark wood legs, tufted, has storage, 40x19 and is $172:
this one kind of caught my eye, it is indoor/outdoor so i could move it to the deck after we move the coffee table back in, i like the woven-ness, and the color and it has storage:
but it's $312 and it may be a little dark for the living room.
i really like the look of this one, with the legs and the nailhead trim, it has storage and is priced at $132 and although i heart the color, it won't go well with what's in the living room now. and it may be a little on the smaller side at 27x27:
the next one is the perfect size at 44x23, has storage and is $168 but i'm not crazy about the color or the chromed out legs:
next up, this one is 51x19, has storage, is a beigy color and costs $192. but the middle tray part doesn't flip over to a cushion so the tray is always exposed, which isn't horrible but not my preference:

good old ikea may be the winner, i will have to go and see in person , but this one comes in lots of colors (i like isunda beige for our living room), has storage, wood legs, 27x35 and is $189:

so i'm not sure, in my head i imagined a square ottoman but in reality i'm not sure it would fit the best in the space, but the long ones are more like a bench rather than a coffee table/ottoman although they would fit better in the space. so, what do you think? which one would go the best in place of the coffee table:
