front room

so we have a lot to do in the front room, well i guess we have a lot to do in the house still in general, but the front room is the next step. we have to move all the stuff out of the office to make it a nursery for the new sweet pea and make an office space in the front room. i have posted about how i want the front room to look previously. so we decided the most logical thing to do first is paint. z and i went to lowe's to check out their paint selections, and after perusing the choices, i settled on three options:

from left: royal navy, hampton surf, indigo streamer

i got some samples of these three and then slapped them up on the wall.  the one of the left is too dark, the one on the right i liked but in most of the light throughout the day and night it read darker than i wanted.  so we chose the middle color, hampton surf.  now i'm starting to cut in around the edges and we'll start to roll the paint on the walls.  the ceiling is tall at the apex, so we must use a ladder to get the upper parts of the walls.  but we only have a little bit of time everyday to work on painting this room, so hopefully we can get it done soon!  i am so excited, i really like this color and the room is going to look so awesome when it's done.
