25 weeks baby 2.0

giving baby sister some kisses
i can hardly believe that i am 6 months pregnant.  crazy.  this week we had friends over for dinner a couple times, had a play date in the park with new friends, had a really rough day where mama broke down in tears at the dinner table (z was just so difficult this particular day), had a couple laid back days, finished the last book in the Harry Potter series (i love re-reading the book!), booked some photo sessions, picked lots of tomatoes from the garden.  z continued his cranky, crabby ways for most of the week, refusing to eat, not sleeping well and participating in some general two year old behavior, all of which is normal but drives me to insanity.  everything is a struggle, i have to wrestle him to the ground and pin him down to change diapers and get him clothed, and it takes it out of me! it is getting physically harder to do this because he is getting bigger and so am i (which makes me less spry). it seems like he is going through some sort of developmental phase, and maybe physical, so hopefully he mellows out soon.  there are times in the day that i wonder how i am going to make this work when i am 30+ weeks pregnant.  i already feel so big and lumbering now.  i know it'll be just fine.  but, man, it's rough sometimes.  ok, now that the whining is over.  i feel lucky that there are no problems with this pregnancy, i'm just experiencing normal second time pregnancy with a toddler stuff.  i was reading through my 25 week update with my pregnancy with z, and it appears that i was experiencing some of the same things like hip and back pain, and feeling large.  this week my lower back has been aching and my upper stomach muscles were on fire.  i think sometimes i do too much without taking a break.  i have to keep reminding myself to slow down a little bit.  oh, but something fun, i started watching the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, on the recommendation of several friends, and it is awesome.  i love anything by tina fey.  hilarious.
