z's activity corner

so a couple of months ago, i blogged about putting together an activity corner for baby z.  this was my vision:

i wanted to hang up his alligator mirror, put some ikea spice racks for book shelves, hang a magnetic board and put up some pictures and something to hang some artwork.  for z's first birthday, hubby and i were trying to come up with ideas for what we wanted to get him.  nothing too outlandish, and preferably simple.  so, i ordered this melissa & doug semi-truck-car-holder toy that i had been eyeing for awhile and decided that i would put together his activity corner and that would be his present.

 so, i hung up the shelves that have been sitting in the closet for 2 months, hung them and the alligator mirror, and the magnetic board with abc's magnets that i picked up recently.  z received many gifts from our generous friends and family for his bday, so i stashed most of them for now to rotate in over the next few months, but he received several music related items.  i decided to organize them in a chest that he had in his room that wasn't being used for anything.  then i chose just some of this toys to put along the floor.  i still need to add either a little shelf above the magnet board (he likes to set and take off his cars and some other little toys on the shelves) or some pictures or something fun, not quite sure yet.  but, the area is set for now.  i imagine that this area will evolve over time, as z gets older and as i rotate in and out different toys.  so, what do you think?  would you add anything?  what should i put above the magnetic board?
